As November 8, 2022 approaches fast, Democrats are experiencing significant anxiety. What’s going to happen in all those close US Senate races, close US House of Representative races, and close State Governor and Secretary of State races? Too many MAGA Republican candidates, and their prospective constituents are pushing hard to take over majorities in the US Senate, US House, and win control of swing state governments. It’s now evident, that both current Biden Administration policy and the continued existence of US free and fair elections, are under serious threat by the Republican Party on November 8.
If the Republicans win a significant majority in the US House of Representative, we can expect them to take action on their publically presented plans, which include the following:
-Impeach President Biden and VP Harris.
-Vote to default on the federal debt in 2023, unless Biden and Democrats deliver spending cuts to Social Security, Medicare, Medicate, and/or other democrat supported programs.
-Pass a 15 week Federal Abortion Ban.
-Initiate House investigations into the January 6 Committee, Hunter Biden’s business dealings, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the origins of the coronavirus, the causes of inflation, and the handling of the U.S.-Mexico border.
Additionally, if MAGA Republicans win any amount of State Governorships and other state government elected positions, they will become more capable and more emboldened to further their policy, of rewriting state voting rights and election laws, ensuring easy Republican wins in the future (by cheating). Such policy equals destruction of our US democracy, that has endured since the ratification of the US Constitution in 1788.
