There are 14 Townships in Morgan County each with an elected Township Trustee and 3 elected Township Board Members all are up for election in 2018 — that is 56 positions. Out of these 56 positions only one is currently held by a Democrat and that is Russell Wright in Adams Township - he is the sole Democrat at the Township level in Morgan County.

There are City/Town Council and Clerk-Treasurer elections in 2018 in Monrovia, Mooresville, Morgantown, Paragon we need Democrats running for these positions. There are also School Board elections.

Please review the 2017 Guide to Government to identify the positions in your City/town, Township, and School District. If you have any questions concerning duties and responsibilities, nominations, primary or general election process let us know.

To make this work we will need a lot of support from the Democratic base in several areas including financial donations to the Party to pay for campaign materials, advertising, posters, events so that we may actively support the individuals that are willing to step-up and run for these positions. Please donate now as we are in an active Campaign mode.
