2018 Barack Obama's Endorsements

These are the 2018 candidates endorsed by Barack Obama. He proved his ability while serving as our President. Now he's using it to elect Democrats at every level of government who will work for opportunity, prosperity, and freedom for all by supporting policies that do the most good for the most people. Pick one or two of these Democratic candidates you favor most, or give a little to each of them. Donate $5 or $50, and help build our party's bench and our country's future.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  4. I am at least eighteen years old.
  5. I am not a federal contractor.
  6. I am a United States citizen.
  7. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor union.
  8. This contribution complies with the provisions of the Ethics in Government Act, O.C.G.A. Sec 21-5-30, et seq.
  9. This contribution is not owned, in whole or in part, by a regulated entity or public agency.
  10. I am not a lobbyist registered in North Carolina
  11. I am not an employee of the Ohio public office for which the recipient of my contribution is a candidate.

Individuals may contribute up to $2,800 per election to federal candidates.
Contributions or gifts to Murphy 2018 Victory Fund are not tax deductible. Paid for by Murphy 2018 Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by DCCC, the Florida Democratic Party, and Stephanie Murphy for Congress. Sherrill for Congress, Van Drew for Congress, Andy Kim for Congress, Tom Malinowski for Congress, and Josh Gottheimer for Congress. Contributions to Stephanie Murphy Victory Fund will be allocated as follows: The first $10,000/$5,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate committee will be allocated to the Florida Democratic Party, with next $2,800/$10,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate committee allocated to Stephanie Murphy for Congress, subject to the legal limits. The first $2,800/$2,500 from a person/multicandidate committee to each candidate committee will be considered designated for the general election. All amounts in excess of these amounts, up to the legal limits, will be allocated to DCCC. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
Donations from lobbyists or principals of lobbyists during the legislative session, which runs January 10 – May 9, 2018, are prohibited.
