2018 Polk County Steak Fry

Join the Polk County Democrats for our second annual Steak Fry on Saturday, September 29, 2018!


The event will be hosted at Des Moines Water Works Park, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 


Tickets are available for $35. TICKET SALES WILL END AT 5:00 PM ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATES.


Steak or chicken and sides will be included in the ticket price. Vegetarian options, hardship tickets, and any accessibility accommodations are available by sending a request to polkdems@gmail.com.


Sponsorship opportunities include:


  • Steak Fry Friend ($100): Includes one ticket and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising.
  • Steak Fry Supporter ($250): Includes two tickets and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising.
  • Steak Fry Sponsor ($500): Includes four tickets and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising.
  • Steak Fry Host ($1,000): Includes four tickets to the event and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising. Hosts can also have a booth and banner display at the event.
  • Steak Fry Defender ($2,500): Includes five tickets to the event and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising. Defenders can also have a booth and banner display at the event.
  • Steak Fry Champion ($5,000): Includes ten tickets to the event and recognition on the sponsorship board and in advertising. Champions can also have a booth and banner display at the event.


Booth space for candidates and organizations will be available for $150. A booth purchase includes space, designated on a first come, first serve basis, along with two tickets. Candidates and organizations will be responsible for providing their own table, chairs and tent (optional). Details regarding booth requirements will be available before the event.


We'll also be selling our Polk County Democrats t-shirts for $20. All you need to do is buy a shirt with your Steak Fry ticket on this page and we'll have it ready for you at the merchandise tent on the big day.
