Our speaker this year is Alan D. Solomont, the former U.S. Ambassador to Spain. Prior to his diplomatic service, he served as the Chairman of the bipartisan Board of Directors of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that oversees all domestic service programs, including AmeriCorps, VISTA, and Senior Corps.
A veteran of six presidential campaigns, Ambassador Solomont has been a long time leader in the Democratic Party,
He is currently the Pierre and Pamela Omidyar Dean of Tufts University’s Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life.
