2020 Great Polk County Ballot Chase

This summer, we've launched a yard sign program in all 177 precincts and on 19 billboards to raise awareness about voting by mail. We've got a big social media campaign and more than a dozen curbside registration stations in operation, too.

This fall, we'll transition to texting and calling every Democrat in Polk County to make sure they get their absentee ballot request and then their ballot turned in. It requires hundreds of people and intense coordination, but it will provide the margin Polk County needs to help turn Iowa blue this fall. In 2018, it helped flip four statehouse seats and made Polk the only county in the 3rd District to go for Congresswoman Cindy Axne. In 2019, it helped flip 13 city council and school board seats. It will be even bigger for the most important election of our lives this fall.
