Stonewall Democratic Club of Solano County Membership Application for 2020

Thank you for your interest in being part of the Stonewall Democratic Club of Solano County for 2020. Our club is dedicated to furthering the causes that are beneficial to the Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual, Bisexual and Questioning (LGBTQ) community in all of Solano County.

Requirements for Membership

Per our club’s bylaws, by completing and submitting this application you are attesting that you meet our membership requirements, which are as follows:

• The individual is a registered Democrat, or is age 16 to 17 years old and commits to registering as a Democrat as soon as is legal to do so in the State of California.
• You affirm that you personally and fully support full equality in all aspects of life for the LGBTQ community, the right of Transgender individuals to use the facilities of their gender identity, and a woman’s right to choose a safe and legal abortion.

Membership Privileges

Your membership in the club provides you with access to political candidate forums, club meetings, club events, and a chance to be part of positive change in Solano County.

Membership Voting Rights

• New Members: Your completion of this membership and payment of dues grants you voting rights to the club for one calendar year (January 1st through December 31st) after a four (4) month probationary period.
• Existing Members: To be considered a member in good standing, all dues must be paid by the end of January of the current year. Any former member can be brought into good standing by paying all applicable dues owed. Members that are not in good standing cannot vote on club agenda items for the period in which they are not in good standing.
