2020 Polk County Steak Fry

Join the Polk County Democrats for the first-ever drive-in Steak Fry on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Water Works Park!

All attendees will be able to watch the program on a large screen constructed for the event and listen on the radios in your vehicles. Steak, chicken, and vegan dinners will be delivered directly to your vehicle. Social distancing rules will be enforced and face masks will be required when attendees are outside of their vehicles.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Mayor Pete Buttigieg will be videoing in to provide the keynote speeches for the event. Democratic candidates from Iowa will be part of the speaking program as well. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Gates will be open to begin parking and meal service at 4:00 PM. The program is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM.

Individual tickets are available for just $35. Tickets must be purchased for each individual inside a vehicle. A virtual live feed will also be available for ticket-buyers unable to attend the drive-in event.

Steak, chicken, or a vegan option will be included with sides in the ticket price. As always, kids 12 and under eat for free. Hardship tickets may be available by sending a request to polkdems@gmail.com. Please send any accessibility requests to polkdems@gmail.com.

TICKET SALES WILL END AT 12:00 PM ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11. TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATES.

Sponsorship levels include:

Friend ($100): Includes one meal and recognition at the event.

Supporter ($250): Includes two meals and recognition at the event.

Sponsor ($500): Includes up to four meals and recognition at the event (attendees can arrive in separate vehicles).

Host ($1,500): Includes up to 6 meals and recognition at the event (attendees can arrive in separate vehicles).

Defender ($2,500): Includes up to 12 meals and recognition at the event (attendees can arrive in separate vehicles).

Host ($5,000): Includes up to 15 meals and recognition at the event (attendees can arrive in separate vehicles).
