On Saturday, August 1st, 2020, from 5-8 pm the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee will be holding our very own $20.20 for 2020 Live virtual Telethon Fundraiser !
This event seeks not only to fund-raise in anticipation of our upcoming critical elections but additionally, to energize our activists across the county. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and for our safety, all of our regular scheduled fundraisers, and gatherings had to be cancelled. However, the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee must continue with our mission and ongoing strategy for preparing for a 2020 take over of the Senate as well as taking back the White House.
Our Live virtual $20.20 for 2020 Telethon fundraising event will feature the famed victims rights Attorney LISA BLOOM as keynote speaker with elected democratic representatives, candidates, and activists along with many headlining performing artists including Twisted Gypsy’s Fleetwood Mac tribute band’s popular singer in her own right, Katie Shorey, Emmy award winning Conan O’ Brian writer and stand up comedian Brian Kiley, musicians from Jefferson Airplane & Hot tuna with John Hurlbut, and many other special talented guests. This event will be marketed and will have viewers nationwide!
As a sponsor, you will be recognized during our live event, and highlighted on digital social media feeds and in the printed Zoom guide program.
The funds raised from this event will be used to fulfill our mission to electing Democrats to local, state, and national offices. Our past efforts have changed the political landscape of our county. Thanks to your generous financial support and through the efforts of hundreds of local volunteers, we will win in 2020. Please show your support by participating, any way you can, in this event.
