Polk County Democrats (IA)

2022 Spring Dinner with Governor Steve Bullock

**Thank you for your generous support! Ticket sales have closed, we have reached capacity for our event!

The Polk County Democratic Party is proud to welcome Governor Steve Bullock as the headliner for our 2022 Spring Dinner on Monday, May 23 at 6:30 PM at Mainframe Studios in Downtown Des Moines.

Governor Steve Bullock was elected to two terms as governor of Montana. In 2016, Donald Trump won the state by more than 20%, but Governor Bullock’s compelling message and down-to-earth campaigning style allowed him to win in a historically bad year for Democrats. As governor, he focused on jobs, education, and standing up for labor. He made national headlines as the first governor to sign an executive order requiring Internet-service providers to follow net-neutrality.

He has spent the last few years passionately talking about how Democrats can win back red states and rural America. As someone who knows our state well, we can't wait to hear his advice for turning Iowa blue again.

We’ll also be announcing additional speakers in the coming weeks along with our volunteers of the year and our 1932 Award recipients.

The dinner will be catered by the Tangerine Food Company. All tickets include a roast chicken entrée or pasta primavera for vegetarian attendees. Meals will include a garden salad, roasted broccoli with feta cheese, their famous bread baskets, and a dessert.

Any accommodation requests or dietary requests can be emailed to polkdems@gmail.com.

Mainframe Studios has reserved 160 parking stalls specifically for the event free of charge to our guests. A cash bar will be provided.

Booths are available for purchase by Democratic candidates and issue groups.

Sponsorships are available at many different levels. All proceeds from the event will go toward getting Democrats elected this fall.
