We Know This: Democrats Must Keep the Senate

Mitch McConnell pledged that if Republicans win back control of Congress next year they would be a check against the Biden administration. McConnell certainly would not be helpful with any Biden nomination to the Supreme Court.

Nothing is more important, right now, than retaining the Senate and expanding our bare majority there.

We have seats to defend (especially in Georgia, Nevada and Arizona) and opportunities we need to take advantage of (North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, for a start). We may not be able to match McConnell's dollars or even the numbers of organizers Republicans and conservative orgs have in the field, but we can Do Something!

Hope Springs from Field PAC is doing something about it. In the past year, Hope Springs from Field volunteers have knocked on 1,034,621 doors and talked to 103,879 voters (Democrats, Independents and NPAs) in Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. We just started knocking on doors in Ohio on Saturday.

Hope Springs from Field PAC was involved in the registration of 83,908 voters, and, with our ongoing efforts to ensure voters have the necessary photo identification, we helped 591 Georgians get their free Georgia Voter ID cards! 

56,964 voters have answered questions on the Issues Survey with which we walk every weekend. The valuable data we obtain by asking voters what issues are important to them and how they feel about their elected officials will all be entered into VAN (the Democratic database/voter file) available to all Democrats who use VAN in those states. We could not do this without your support!.
