2024 CYD Post-Primary Organizing Retreat in Lake Tahoe

CYD returns to Lake Tahoe for our biennial retreat!

Please join us for the 2024 California Young Democrats Post-Primary Organizing Retreat in beautiful Lake Tahoe for an unforgettable weekend April 5 – 7! CYD is excited to bring hundreds of young people from across California to this year’s retreat.

Registration fees include: access to trainings, expert panels, meals on Saturday, fun events and games, and tote bag.

We have worked hard to reduce the costs of attending compared to recent CYD Retreats: Early Registration is just $75 per person ($20 cheaper than the last Retreat) through Sunday, March 3, 2024. After that date, registration increases, and Late Registration will be $100 per person. Late registration closed 3/29/2024 at 3:40 PM. On-site registration is in effect and is $125 per person.

Held at the Bally's Lake Tahoe (formally MontBlue Resort) in beautiful Lake Tahoe, the 2024 event includes three days of jam-packed trainings, expert panels, high-profile guest speakers, networking and much more!

Accommodation Information

CYD’s secured room block at Bally’s Lake Tahoe closed on March 20, 2024. Bally’s is concentrating all CYD members on the same floor(s). Rates were set at $119.00 on Friday, April 5th, and $149.00 on Saturday, April 6th, not inclusive of resort fees and taxes, but negotiated to include parking and up to 4 people per room. The total cost for the weekend for one room with up to 4 people was set at $377.08 with all taxes and fees. Now that the room block has closed, room availability is low, and Bally’s may not honor this discounted rate.

You may still attempt to book a room by calling Bally’s reservations department at: (775) 588-3515 ext. 3015 and provide the group code “STCY24” or the group name California Young Democrats. You may also contact ExecutiveDirector@cayoungdems.com who can ask Bally’s if they can help you secure a room at the previously negotiated rate.

Because Bally’s is in Nevada and there is a casino on-site, each room must have at least one individual that is 21 years-of-age or older at the time of check-in.
