Keynote Speaker: Chair Jeanna Repass

Jeanna Repass is the Chair of the Kansas Democratic Party. As the first Black and Latina Chair of the Party, Jeanna is a trailblazer for Democratic change in Kansas. Jeanna’s background in executive leadership in corporate media, extensive community outreach, and activism work galvanized her run for Secretary of State in 2022. A second-generation Nebraskan, Jeanna is a graduate of Omaha Central High School. Her uncle Joe Orduna is in the Nebraska Cornhuskers Hall of Fame. Jeanna has three children – Adam, Ariel, and Christian – and lives with her husband Kyle in Overland Park, Kansas.

Guest Speaker: Senator George Dungan

George Dungan was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was inspired to attend college and later law school by his mother, who he credits for his passion for justice and equality. Senator Dungan holds a Juris Doctorate from American University, where he served in the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic representing the interests of people escaping violence, especially women and children. He served the people of Lancaster County for nearly ten years as a public defender. In 2022, he was elected to represent Legislative District 26 in the Nebraska Unicameral.
