Support the Montana and Ohio Donor Alliances

Our event is over, but please consider continuing to support this work.

Hosted by: Senate Circle | Chop Wood Carry Water | Today's Edition Newsletter by Robert Hubbell | Paul Strasburg & Terry Saracino | Sarah O'Neill | Robert Dimmick | Patricia and Bruce Semple | Catherine Lerza | Jenny Altshuler | Karie Brown | Susan and Matt Ryan | Kathy Angell

Sherrod Brown and Jon Tester will not be speaking at this event. Donations will support grassroots groups in Montana and Ohio and not the candidates' committees.

Our speakers will be:

  • Stacie Anderson, Executive Director of Montana Values Action Fund
  • Misha Barnes, Executive Director of Ohio Progressive Collaborative
  • Moderator - Jessica Craven, Substack author of Chop Wood, Carry Water

Moderator Jessica Craven's Substack missives are guideposts for the soul, for the mind, and especially for the hands and feet. In a single posting she heartens us with Vaclav Haval's musings on hope and then calls us to action with a letter she has drafted on the topic du jour that we can send to our elected representatives. Her readers come away uplifted, smarter, and empowered.

Our two guest speakers, Misha Barnes (Ohio) and Stacie Anderson (Montana), are experts on the political landscape of their respective states. They are the directors of donor alliances, and the money we raise for their organizations will be allocated in ways that meet Senate Circle's criteria: Our dollars will go to the people, places, and initiatives that have proven themselves to be cost-effective in reaching voters. Donor alliances are a nimble and efficient way to invest in community organizing, and they can be the change-makers in an election cycle.

Thank you,

The Senate Circle Volunteers
