Menu will include pasta in marinara sauce, meatballs, pasta alfredo, chicken spiedini skewers, green beans, mixed green salad, Italian bread, and an assortment of cookies.
Speakers will include Rita Hart, Iowa Democratic Chair, Iowa Senator Sarah Trone Garriott, and Representative Kenan Judge, and others.
We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by Robert Leonard as our keynote speaker at our annual Spring Dinner on May 16. Robert is author of the blog "Deep Midwest: Politics and Culture", which is available on Substack. His byline has appeared in the New York Times, Kansas City Star and Des Moines Register. He'll give us his perspective on the current state of Iowa politics and some ways forward.
