On January 12, 2026, I will begin serving my sixth legislative session in the Georgia State House of Representatives.

Once the 2026 Session begins, state law precludes us from fundraising until it ends, likely in early April.

It continues to be my honor to serve you, but I cannot do it alone. When we invest together, we have a better chance of effecting the change we want to see and the future we are proud to leave our children.

Legislators get very little funding from the state to pay for staff and the resources necessary to be effective for you. That means the burden falls on us to fundraise to run our legislative operations.

I need to build a strong legislative team to do the work well. Melanie Jacobson will be back as our Chief of Staff. We are piloting an internship program for 15 -20 high school and college students. They will be helping us monitor committee meetings and legislation as well as keep you informed on what's going on under the Gold Dome.

There is a lot of work ahead and I'm up to the task! But I need your help TODAY so I have the resources to be effective for YOU.
