2026 Annual Fundraiser: Democracy Takes Action
We are excited to invite you to The Berrien County Democratic Party's “5th Annual Fundraising Event: Democracy Takes Action" (formerly the “True Blue Gala”) on Friday, June 12th at 6:00 pm.
The event will be held at Shadowland Ballroom in St. Joseph, Michigan and a keynote will be delivered by Barbara McQuade, former U.S. Attorney, New York Times Best-Selling Author, Co-Host of the #Sisters-in-Law Podcast, and University of Michigan Professor of Law.
Barbara’s latest book, “The Fix: Saving America from the Corruption of a Mob-Style Government” will be released on June 2nd and provides a call to action, outlining common-sense reforms and strategies that can reclaim the rule of law and recenter democracy with the power of the people.
Guests will also enjoy a full dinner provided by CK Catering, visits with local candidates and elected officials, and energy and inspiration to engage fellow voters, protect our elections, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in November.
