2026 CYD State Endorsing Convention in San Francisco

The California Young Democrats (CYD) will be convening our 2026 State Endorsing Convention alongside the California Democratic Party (CADEM) Convention in San Francisco, February 20-22, 2026.

Meetings will be at The Moscone Center West, located at: 4th Street & Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.

Early Registration is discounted at $40 per person and available before Saturday, January 3rd. Starting January 3, 2026, Regular Registration begins and is $55 per person. Late/on-site registration fee begins February 1, 2025 and is $75 per person.

The weekend will be packed with fun, networking events, CYD caucus and regional meetings, trainings, the California College Democrats (CCD) General Session meeting, the California High School Democrats (CAHSD) General Session meeting, and the CYD General Session meeting where elections for CYD statewide officers will be held as well as where CYD endorsements will be considered.

Hotel Room Block Information

CYD has a limited number of discounted rooms available for reservation at Hilton Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco (55 Cyril Magnin Street, San Francisco, CA 94102) which can be booked by CYD Members who’ve registered for the CYD Convention on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The rooms are $175 per night, plus local taxes (roughly $31 per night). So, minimum total for two-night stay, check-in Friday, and check-out Sunday, will be USD 411.95 (so ~$206 per night with local tax).

Also, parking is expensive in downtown San Francisco, so you will need to plan accordingly: keep reading below for more parking information and costs.

Please read this important information about the CYD Room Block before booking:

·        A minimum stay of two consecutive nights is required.

·        A maximum of three rooms may be booked per name/email.

·        A first-night room & tax deposit is required and is non-refundable (NO EXCEPTIONS because CYD DOES NOT control this per a contract between the hotel and CADEM).

Once the room is confirmed by the hotel:

·        The reservation cannot be canceled (NO EXCEPTIONS).

·        It may be transferred to another guest.

·        It may be modified, but must still meet the two-night minimum.

·        All reservations must be secured by January 30, 2026.

·        Final hotel confirmations will be issued by February 6, 2026.

If you are a delegate/Central Committee Member/Executive Board Member of the California Democratic Party (CADEM): please book hotel rooms in their room block (which is at the same hotel), so that non-CADEM delegate CYD members and clubs have access to rooms through the CYD room block since we have a limited number of rooms.

The link to book a hotel room in the CYD room block at Parc 55 can be found in your emailed ActBlue Receipt with the subject "Thank you for your contribution!" which you receive after purchasing your 2026 CYD Convention registration through CYD’s ActBlue Convention registration page. You must complete your CYD Registration before you can book a room within CYD’s room block. Hotel room reservations by individuals not registered for the CYD Convention will be cancelled.

Parking information: Hilton Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco only offers valet parking, which is $80 per night with in-and-out privileges. They charge more for oversized vehicles: $102.60 per night. If you have questions about the hotel’s parking, call Hilton Parc 55 directly. To save money on parking, we suggest using third party services/apps like ParkWhiz, SpotHero, or Google Maps to locate/reserve cheaper parking in San Francisco.
