I’m Anna Hernandez. I was born and raised in Phoenix. I come from proud, working people who are problem solvers who hustle everyday to provide for their families. We are fighters.
In April 2025, I took office as Councilwoman for Phoenix District 7.
Our district and our city are facing real challenges. Police violence continues to impact black and brown communities, the housing crisis is growing, and our city's water is under serious threat. And the damage from Trump's cuts, tariffs, and targeted attacks on our city are here.
In spite of the challenges that loom for our city, I still believe that our people deserve to live in a beautiful, safe, and sustainable city. We can bring jobs and strengthen the city's economy and expand our parks, rivers, and wetlands. Create more accessible housing and grow a vibrant downtown. We can provided essential services that care for the mental, emotional, and physical health of our people. I believe we are worth fighting for!
