MN DFL Units of Olmsted County, Senate District 25 and Olmsted 20/24, cordially invite you to the 11th Annual FDR Dinner, honoring President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, his visits to Minnesota in the 1930s and 1940s, and his era of progressive policies.

We welcome Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon as your keynote speaker and we will hear from our Congressional District 1 candidate and state legislative candidates. We have invited both U.S. Senate candidates, both U.S. senators and Gov. Walz, along with DFL party leaders.

Enjoy a delicious plated meal catered by Empire Event Center, meet the candidates, connect with old friends and make new ones! It's a great opportunity to gather, network, and support your local DFL office, legislators, and candidates.

Your evening includes:

  • NEW! VIP Reception: 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. (ticketed separately)
  • Cash bar: 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • Plated dinner & dessert: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Program & live auction: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Dinner includes your entree choice of CHICKEN breast with boursin cheese and roasted baby potatoes or VEGETARIAN linguine pasta with garlic butter sauce and roasted squash (can be prepared GF and vegan).

NOTE! NOTE! NOTE! => Specify your entree choice(s) along with any other dietary requests or accommodations in the comments field of your ticket order.

Are you an NFL fan? The Minnesota Vikings are playing in London on the morning of Oct. 5, and the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears each have a bye week, so spend your Sunday with fellow DFLers in support of local organizing units and candidates.

We look forward to being together!

It’s never been more important as we continue the work of democracy and look toward 2026 and beyond.

In solidarity.
