$26 FOR '26

Platte County’s future is shaped by the work we start doing today and continue tomorrow.


The Platte County Democratic Central Committee is launching a new, long-term effort to strengthen democratic principles and participation in Platte County. Through our $26 for ’26 Campaign, together we will build the infrastructure for the next election through 2030.


Your monthly donation helps us:

  1. Secure a functional headquarters for volunteers, organizing, and candidate support
  2. Implement and sustain our long-term strategic plan
  3. Cover necessary overhead costs for our collective community activities while sustaining necessary infrastructure needs


Our ability to maintain a consistent, visible presence depends on reliable monthly support from Democratic advocates in Platte County and the greater Kansas City metro area.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor organization.
  6. I have not knowingly or willfully accepted funds, directly or indirectly, of more than $10,000 from one or more "prohibited sources" within two years of making this contribution. “Prohibited sources” means “contributions from or expenditures by a foreign national made with the intent to use such funds to influence an election or a ballot measure.”
