Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
The first $3,500 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Cooper for North Carolina designated for the general election. The next $10,000 from a person and $5,000 from a PAC will be allocated to North Carolina Democratic Party – Federal. The next $44,300 of a contribution from a person and the next $15,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC General Fund. The next $132,900 from a person and the next $45,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC Headquarters Fund. The next $132,900 from a person and the next $45,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC Legal Fund. A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
The first $7,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $10,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Cooper for North Carolina. The first $3,500 of a person’s contribution and the first $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the primary election; the next $3,500/$5,000 will be designated for the general election. The next $10,000 from a person and $5,000 from a PAC will be allocated to North Carolina Democratic Party – Federal.
