This is Congressman Al Green. I held my sign in protest at the State of the Union to make sure President Trump knows we are holding him accountable for his racist tirades against black people. 


I’ve stood up to President Trump since his first term in office – including bringing articles of impeachment – and it hasn’t been without consequences. 


This year, President Trump and Governor Abbott targeted me in their unconstitutional mid-decade redistricting efforts. Now, I’m in a fight for my life to stay in Congress.
