2026 TDW Virtual Summer Retreat

Join Texas Democratic Women for our inaugural 2026 Virtual Summer Retreat: Learn Together. Grow Together. Win Together.


This free virtual summit brings together TDW members and supporters from across Texas for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Whether you're a longtime chapter leader or a new member looking to get involved, you'll gain practical tools, fresh ideas, and meaningful connections to help strengthen your chapter and prepare for the 2026 election cycle.


The day will feature a combination of full-group sessions and interactive breakout sessions, allowing attendees to learn from statewide leaders while also diving deeper into topics most relevant to their chapter's needs.

Featured full-group sessions include:

  • Opening General Session and Keynote Address
  • Membership Growth, Engagement & Retention
  • Texas Together: Building Your Chapter's GOTV Plan
  • 2026 Election Strategy Update
  • Closing General Session and Call to Action


Attendees will also choose from interactive breakout and roundtable sessions, including:

  • Fundraising That Works
  • Building Effective Community Partnerships
  • Communications Committee
  • Membership Committee
  • Chapter Leadership Roundtable


The retreat will be held Saturday, August 29, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Central Time, with the virtual lobby opening at 8:45 AM.


Throughout the day, we'll include short breaks to recharge, connect with fellow attendees, and transition between sessions.


A detailed agenda, session descriptions, speaker lineup, and attendee information will be shared with registered participants in the coming weeks.


While we encourage everyone to join us live to participate in discussions and ask questions, we understand schedules don't always cooperate. We will make every effort to record the general sessions, breakout sessions, and roundtables and share them with registered attendees afterward. Please note that recordings are not guaranteed and may be limited by presenter permission or technical considerations.


This event is free because we believe leadership development should be accessible to every chapter. During registration, you'll have the opportunity to make an optional contribution to the TDW 2026 Midterm Fund. Every dollar raised helps Texas Democratic Women support Democratic women candidates, strengthen voter engagement efforts, and invest in the organizing needed to win in 2026.
