Miguel Valente's 26th Birthday Fundraiser

We're excited to invite you to celebrate Miguel Valente's 26th birthday fundraiser in support of his campaign for the Sangamon County Board as the Democratic Nominee! Your support will help fund Miguel's path to becoming one of the youngest individuals ever elected to the Sangamon County Board and the only Hispanic/Latino representative in recent memory.

About the Candidate: At 25, Miguel entered his first election as the sole U.S. Veteran and Hispanic/Latino candidate in a contested Democratic primary. He successfully defeated the sitting Democratic incumbent, Sam Cahnman, on March 17, 2026. Miguel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (2022) and a Master's in Public Administration (2024), both from the University of Illinois Springfield. Before running for office, he served seven years in the Illinois Army National Guard as a Water Treatment Specialist, including federal and state missions.
