Sunday Funday with Maria
The time has come for Sunday Funday - the LGBTQ+ community fundraiser to support Alderwoman Maria Hadden. Maria is the first Black, openly lesbian woman on the Chicago City Council and she needs our support for re-election.
The event will be Sunday, August 28, from 2:00-4:00pm at Jarvis Square Tavern, 1502 W. Jarvis Ave. The party will be both inside and outside on the patio in order to offer space for all to enjoy. DJ Sandra Suave will be mixing the hottest beats and our very own Rogers Park treasure, Babito’s Bites, is ready to serve up food you won’t want to miss. Tickets include food and one drink.
You don’t need to be a member of the LGBTQ community to attend, you just need to be ready to have a good time. Our Host Committee is in formation. All Superstars and Divas will be highlighted on social before the event!

- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I understand that by ordinance of the City of Chicago, no lobbyist registered with the Board of Ethics, or person who has done business with City within the preceding four reporting years, or person who is seeking to do business with the City, shall contribute over $1,500 during a calendar year. This includes persons doing or seeking to do business with the: City of Chicago, Chicago Transit Authority, Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Chicago City Colleges, Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, or Public Building Commission.
