I’m Howard Garrett, and I’m proud to announce that I’m running for reelection as your Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for ANC 2G01.

Over the last two years, we have worked together to make our community stronger, more connected, and more responsive to the people who call it home. We’ve pushed for safer streets and public spaces, fought for better housing conditions and accountability, expanded communication with residents, invested in our young people, supported our small businesses, and made sure our neighbors have a voice when decisions are being made about our community.

But our work is not finished.

I’m running for reelection because I want to build on the progress we’ve made and finish what we started: creating more affordable and accessible housing, advancing long-term public safety solutions rooted in accountability and opportunity, strengthening our neighborhood resources, and continuing to build a community where every resident feels heard, represented, and supported.

This campaign is about continuing the work, staying present, and delivering for our neighbors. I’m asking for your support once again. A contribution of $25, the maximum allowable, will help us reach more residents and continue building a people-powered campaign grounded in the community we serve.
