Let's train 3,000 Women - Entrenemos a 3,000 Mujeres

According to TruthOut.Org in Puerto Rico a woman is murdered every 14 days. Twenty-four women were murdered at the hands of their intimate or former partners in Puerto Rico in 2018 alone.


The sad reality is that thousands of women in Puerto Rico suffer assaults on a daily basis. intimidation or some type of expression of male violence. including physical violence. emotional and sexual.


The statistics are terrifying and continue to get worse with each passing day.


So far in 2021, 6 women have already been murdered in Puerto Rico and another dozen seriously attacked.


In March 2021 Andrea Ruiz desperately managed protection including restraining orders that were denied. Weeks later, his partially calcined body appeared.


27-year-old Keishla Marlen was tortured and thrown alive from a bridge, after being attacked and against her will injected with heroin. She and her unborn child died. apparently at the hands of his sentimental partner and father of the child.


Puerto Rico Rises urgently seeks to establish seminars. workshops and classes that give women economic and social independence that allows them to support themselves and their families.


The socioeconomic situation that affects our Island has caused a rampant increase in general violence.


As part of our offer. We want to carry out an in-depth study of the relationship between violent acts and the lack of education for women because they do not have access to the same resources. opportunities and benefits that men have.


We started the first round with the Tour around Puerto Rico named De Gira Por Mi (Touring for me) that will run from May to September 2021.
