Together, we have a chance to change the face of Oakland politics. Oakland Rising Action is asking for your support to elect social justice champions by donating to our campaign work today.

Every election, our city finds itself at a crossroads - with working families and people of color being left out of the political process and excluded from the agenda of many candidates running for City Council, School Board and other offices. At Oakland Rising Action, we fight to build the political power of the heart of The Town - working class people of color - because WE should be leading the way in electing candidates who will run our city and put our issues at the center of our city's agenda.  

Contribute today to Oakland Rising Action and help fuel our voter education and mobilization work around the June 5th Primary Election and November 6th General Election. 

• $500 for the 500+ Oakland voters they will speak to each day leading up to elections
• $250 towards recruiting 250 volunteers in 2018
• $100 for the hundreds of signatures we're collecting to qualify crucial issues like the Schools Funding Act (schoolfundingnow.com) for the fall ballot
• $50 which is about dollar a week for the year
• $25 for each of the 25+ precincts in which they’ll knock on doors
