What do the 41st LD Democrats do?
Our organization is the grassroots level of the Democratic Party. We engage with voters in our own neighborhoods to inform them about local issues and encourage them to vote in local elections, like City Councils and School Boards. At this level of politics, we can make our voices heard where we feel the greatest impacts of government in our everyday lives.
Where does my money go?
The 41st Dems is a volunteer organization. We raise and spend money to help elect people with Democratic values to local elected positions and engage our communities to inform voters and promote democracy. This includes printing materials to inform voters about local issues and our endorsed candidates. It also includes contributing directly to our endorsed candidates’ campaigns.
Your contributions will help us be able to reach voters and help local government work better for our communities. For example, if you contribute $50 today, your donation will allow us to reach 500 voters via text banking this fall. A $100 donation would mean we can reach 1,000 voters! We appreciate every dollar you can contribute, and we pledge to be good stewards of your donation.
