Mark Pocan is one of a record number of LGBT people running for Congress this year. He's running to replace Tammy Baldwin representing Wisconsin's Second Congressional District. Mark is a proud union member (IUPAT) and small business owner in Madison.
In 2009, as a state representative, Mark was ranked as the "best legislator" by his peers and political observers in Milwaukee Magazine. He puts workers and families first and has a history of standing up for women's rights. Mark married his partner, Phil, in 2005 in Canada.
