Gather with fellow Democrats for an afternoon of unity, community, and action, as we brainstorm strategies to protect our democracy from the challenges posed by recent Supreme Court decisions and the possibility of Trump being re-elected as President.
This is more than just a picnic—it's a call to action. Together, we can develop and strengthen our plans to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) and ensure our voices are heard loud and clear. Join us to:
– Learn how to get involved and help ensure we continue to elect democrats and defeat the Heywood Initiatives!
– Connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute your ideas and energy to the cause.
– Snap a few pictures in our GOTV Photo Booth!
– Pick up your PCO precinct walking materials!
– Enjoy delicious food and refreshments!
All proceeds from this event will go towards voter outreach to elect our endorsed candidates. If you are unable to contribute, please volunteer or email chair@kcdems.org for a waiver.
Our ticket levels incorporate a Native name for each of our tallest mountains as well as for Cascade Pass. There is a movement from our local tribes to restore the original names for the region's natural landmarks. You can read more about these efforts here.
