Message from Kate Donaghue - This is my Roosevelt Awards Page! - The Roosevelt Awards is an annual event hosted by the Massachusetts Democratic Party to honor members of the community who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to furthering the ideals of the Democratic Party through public service. Each year, the Party selects a man and a woman to receive the Franklin Roosevelt Award and the Eleanor Roosevelt Award respectively. - This year the award recipients are Jim McGovern and Michelle Wu.. Please join with us in celebrating the exceptional contribution these individuals have made to the Commonwealth. - This year the event is being held at the Omin Parker House on Wednesday, May 31. I am trying to raise $500 so that I and and a guest can go to the event. Please consider making a donation. You might be the lucky person who is selected. Or maybe you can make a donation and can STAY HOME and not go to the event!
