5K4JKT
Join JKT on Sunday, October 25th, as we continue to build momentum and run towards the November 3rd finish line and a revitalized public education system.
Run 5k or run or walk 1.4 miles through the stunning Kincaid Park, departing from the Kincaid Chalet where there will be live music, food trucks, and hot beverages.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Why 1.4 miles and not 1 mile? We’re running 1.4 miles to represent the turnover metric of 1400 - 1600 teachers leaving the state every year.
What’s the cost of the run? Pay What You Can! Be it $6.60, to represent our BSA, which is at the bottom of the $6–$11k national range, or $27.98, for the 2798 less students enrolled in public school in 2026. Registration for this race goes first to cover the cost of the event, then onto supporting the campaign. Thank you!
