The Flowers Whiting Initiative 5th Annual Turkey Giveaway
The 5th Annual Flowers Whiting Initiative Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 12 PM to 4 PM, at 940 Madison Ave, Baltimore, MD 21201.
As the holidays approach, we’re excited to continue our mission of supporting families in need across Baltimore City. This year, we’re focused on helping families impacted by the criminal justice system and addressing food insecurity in designated food deserts. Our goal is to provide 200-350 turkeys and hot meals, with delicious catering provided by Chef Drew of Stir It Up Catering, to ensure every family can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
We’re reaching out for support to help raise $6,000 by November 23 to cover turkeys, hot meals, and a U-Haul rental for transport. Every dollar will directly benefit Baltimore families, ensuring they can celebrate Thanksgiving on November 28, 2024.
