The Rousseau Volunteer Fire Department have gone above and beyond in their commitment to serve their community during the 2022 flooding of EKY. They have performed 18 swift water rescues and provided essential aid to flood victims, despite receiving no federal, state, or county funding.
Unfortunately, due to the increased driving to offer this aid, two of their trucks have broken down and they cannot afford to repair them.
The RVFD has applied for a USDA loan (since they have been denied funding elsewhere) to replace one of the 4x4 trucks, but they will still need to pay at least $11,000 towards a new vehicle. That's why we need your help to support this incredible organization. Please consider donating to the RVFD so they can continue to help those in need. Your generous donation will help them to replace their broken-down vehicles and continue to provide vital aid and assistance to those affected by the flooding. Thank you for your support!
