Online Application for 6th Ward Democrats

Membership!


The 6th Ward Democrats accepts membership dues online! Paying your dues is as easy as submitting a donation through ActBlue. Annual membership is $10 per person and is due every October.


Each member needs to complete a separate application. An ActBlue dues payment may cover only one member.


To be a Voting Member of the 6th Ward Democrats, an individual must meet the following criteria (per our bylaws):


1. Is a Democrat


2. Is registered to vote in the new 6th Ward in the City of Saint Louis


3. Has submitted a membership application to the new 6th Ward Democrats (submission of your dues payment in ActBlue is the equivalent of submitting an application for membership).


4. Has paid their annual dues to the new 6th Ward Democrats (currently set at $10 per person). This is the payment you are making.


5. Has not publicly supported or endorsed a candidate of a party other than the Democratic Party in the past 12 months


6. Is not a member of any other ward organization in the new 6th Ward (expiring membership in the former Democratic ward organizations is acceptable during this transition period)

Please note the following:

  • Honorary Membership is available in the 6th Ward Democrats for any Democrat who has submitted a membership application and paid their annual dues but is not eligible to be a Voting Member.
  • In the case of financial hardship, the Executive Committee of the 6th Ward Democrats may waive annual dues for an individual. If you believe this applies to you, please contact us at: info@6thwardstl.org
  • If you would prefer to pay dues via check or in person, please reach out to us at: info@6thwardstl.org or bring your dues payment to a meeting.

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
  5. This contribution is not from a corporation or labor organization.
