Contributions benefit the New York Majority Fund—a joint fundraising effort between Gillibrand for Senate, Off the Sidelines PAC, and the New York State Democratic Committee. An individual's first $6,600 benefits Gillibrand for Senate. The next $5,000 benefits Off the Sidelines PAC. The final $10,000 benefits the New York State Democratic Committee.

We have created a joint fundraising agreement with the NYS Democratic Party. The name of the vehicle is the New York Majority Fund. 


With this organization we can raise $21,600 at one time. The allocation formula is as follows:


- The first $6,600 goes to Gillibrand for Senate (primary and general) 

- The next $5,000 goes to Off the Sidelines PAC (this limit renews every year) 

- The last $10,000 goes to the *NYS Democratic Party (this limit renews every year) 


*Individuals are limited to $10,000 per annum in federal contributions to the New York State Democratic Committee. Contributions raised through the New York Majority Fund reflects Senator Gillibrand’s commitment to the coordinated campaign.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to New York Majority Fund will be allocated as follows: The first $7,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $10,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Gillibrand for Senate. The first $3,500 of a person’s contribution and the first $5,000 of a PAC’s contribution will be designated for the primary election; the next $3,500/$5,000 will be designated for the general election. The next $5,000 received in each calendar year from a person/multi-candidate PAC will be allocated to Off the Sidelines PAC. The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the next $5,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the New York State Democratic Committee. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting cjgrover@vlpc.com. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
