The event will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Monday, August 24th. The address will be provided in advance of the event.
Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of the employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Contributions to Cait for New York are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. The Committee may accept contributions of up to $3,500 per election from individuals and non-multi-candidate PACs ($7,000 for the primary and general elections combined), and $5,000 per election from federal multi-candidate PACs ($10,000 for the primary and general elections combined). The Committee may not accept contributions from corporations, labor organizations, national banks, federal government contractors and foreign nationals who lack permanent resident status. Contributions must be made from the donor’s own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person.
