This will be one of the most competitive Congressional races in the country and was decided by fewer than 2,500 votes in the 2024 election. Colorado's 8th Congressional District is a MUST-win seat for Democrats in 2026, and Manny has the background, energy, and network of supporters needed to defeat Republican Gabe Evans. Manny is running to stand up for working-class communities, address the economic issues our country is facing, and ensure every Coloradan has a real opportunity to succeed.

Manny Rutinel is a first-generation American, attorney, and a proud advocate for working families. Raised by a single mother who immigrated from the Dominican Republic, he knows what it means to struggle. Growing up, his family faced tough choices, like whether to pay for groceries, healthcare, or rent. 

As a Colorado State Representative, he has delivered for Colorado families, just like his own, by fighting for affordable housing and healthcare, and defending our rights and freedoms.

Now, he's running to represent Colorado’s 8th Congressional District with the endorsement of over 50 elected officials across Colorado. This is one of the nation’s most competitive seats, and the current Representative is a Trump-backed Republican. Our community deserves a better leader who will fight for every family to have the opportunity to thrive.
