A Night to Listen, Unite and Lead

Elections are a time to ask big questions and seek answers. What is going well in our state? What needs to change? How can we work together to lead toward a better, fairer North Carolina?

We know what’s at stake: An independent judiciary, a women’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, free and fair elections — and so much more.

On Wednesday, September 7, please join us to celebrate our shared values and build resources for some of the most consequential elections for North Carolina’s future.

What: A joint fundraiser for five General Assembly candidates and two for the NC Court of Appeals.

  • Sen. Sydney Batch (SD 17)
  • Ray Jeffers (HD 2)
  • Mary Wills Bode (SD 18)
  • Rep. Terence Everitt (HD 35)
  • Rep. Julie von Haefen (HD 36)
  • Judge Darren Jackson (Court of Appeals)
  • Judge Brad Salmon (Court of Appeals).

Special Musical Guest: Tift Merritt

Hosts: The event will be co-hosted by candidates Reps. Graig Meyer and Allen Buansi and Sens. Natalie Murdock and Jay Chaudhuri.

Why: A night to Listen, Unite and Lead featuring some of the most important candidates in vital races for state office in North Carolina.

When: Wednesday, September 7, 2022. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Where:  The home of Graig and Kym Meyer. Address provided in donation page receipt.

How to Attend: We are asking for minimum donations of $25 for students, teachers and first time donors,  and $100 for everyone else.

Campaign finance complexities prohibit us from collecting one donation for all of the candidates. So we ask you to please take a moment to make three donations:

  1. Donate on this page and the amount you give will be divided equally among the five legislative candidates.
  2. Donate here to support Judge Jackson
  3. Donate here to support Judge Salmon.

You should automatically be redirected after each donation in the order above.

As long as your donations equal a minimum of $100 or $25 (for students, teachers and new donors) in total, you’re good to go!

And, of course, we hope that after you meet these amazing candidates, you’ll consider donating even more. Staff will be on hand at the event to take checks or credit card information for any additional donations to any candidate.

Questions or need help? Please email jeremy@graigmeyer.com

We hope you’ll join us and we look forward to seeing you there!
