Contributions are not tax deductible. The limit is $36,400 (primary) and $36,400 (general). Contributions from individuals, unions, businesses, political committees, etc. are permitted. Spouses may each contribute the maximum from a joint bank account as long as each makes a separate credit card contribution or signs their own check/accompanying letter. Contributions from state lobbyists, lobbying firms, and foreign nationals/principals are prohibited (contributions from green card holders are permitted). Contributions from an individual and businesses the individual owns/controls are subject to a single, aggregated limit, as are contributions from businesses owned/controlled by the same person(s). You must provide your street address, occupation, and employer for reporting purposes. Contributions must be from the contributor's own funds and may not be reimbursed by another unless you tell us the true source of the contribution.
