Thank you for joining us for this celebration of parenthood and politics in honor of Representative Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn. Like so many parents, Carlie understands the balancing act of working outside the home and caring for her family. At the Capitol, Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn has championed policies in early care and learning, helping to ensure that parents can find affordable and accessible care to support their children’s development. She is passionate about public education and ensuring that all Minnesotans can access family-supporting, community-sustaining jobs. Carlie is a supporter of Paid Family Leave so no Minnesotan has to choose between their job or caring for a loved one. District 48B is a battleground district in keeping a DFL majority in the MN House and 2022 is certain to be a difficult race.
