Haitians are currently trying to seek asylum in Del Rio, Texas. Rather than welcoming Haitians with dignity, the U.S. government is hurting individuals and families at the border and has resumed deportation flights to a country challenged with civil unrest and rebuilding from a devastating earthquake.
Instead of immediately protecting those individuals and families and honoring their legal right to seek asylum in the safety of the US, they have enclosed them into a camp with no meaningful access to food and water. The Biden Administration must end this violence and fix the broken immigration system which they committed to during the campaign.
Haitian Bridge Alliance is currently on the ground helping Haitians seeking asylum in Del Rio, Texas. They provide critical assistance to feed, clothe, shelter, and transport families to reunite with their loved ones across the country and provide resources to the ones expelled to the southern border. Donate now to support their efforts and Welcome With Dignity.
