As the first and only network of local Asian Americans serving in elected positions in Illinois, the goal of the Asian American Local Elected Leaders in Illinois (AALEI) is to:

 

  • Support elected officials in being a voice for equity and inclusion for Asian Americans, and other marginalized communities 
  • Cultivate leadership within the broader Asian American community for civic engagement and public service


 

Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
