Protect Abortion Access in Wisconsin
Access to safe and legal abortion in Wisconsin is in jeopardy. That's why Rep. Lisa Subeck introduced the Abortion Access Protection Act, and she needs your help to get it passed.
Just one week before we elect our next President, the Senate held a confirmation vote in record time to appoint Donald Trump's hand-picked successor to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, paving the way to overturn Roe v. Wade.
If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion would be immediately illegal in Wisconsin and doctors would be subject to criminal penalties including up to 6 years prison time and $10,000 fines. The Abortion Access Protection Act would repeal Wisconsin's archaic criminal abortion ban and ensure continued access to abortion in Wisconsin.
As long as Republicans control the state legislature, the Abortion Access Protection Act will not pass. They are not changing their minds, so we have to change who occupies their seats.
