As we head into the final stretch, we need to make sure we leave it all on the field. That will require turning out Milwaukee voters who will be central turning Wisconsin blue. Fortunately Black Leaders Organizing Communities (BLOC) is doing that work.
They're a grassroots organization working to lift up the Black citizens, leaders, and businesses in the community through coordinated political action in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin. During the 2018 midterms and this year's local decisive local elections, they turned out Black voters who made the difference in electing five statewide candidates AND a Supreme Court justice.
In order to continue this work, BLOC needs to raise $50,000. These funds will help BLOC's community-based ambassadors engage in direct voter contact and outreach through Election Day and continue their work contacting Black residents and voters in Milwaukee to better understand their needs. If you want to support BLOC's volunteers and the amazing work they've been doing, chip in $15 or whatever you can today to help them reach their $50,000 goal.
