In less than two years in Congress, Rashida has shown what we can achieve together, fighting for racial, social, economic and environmental justice.
As Abdul El-Sayed said in his endorsement of Rashida:
Rashida has time and again shown up for Michigan's communities—whether it’s as an activist, a public-interest lawyer, or as Congresswoman from Michigan’s 13th District. And she shows up for fights for the real people who make our communities what they are, not just the rich and powerful who’ve too often shouldered everyone else out of the halls of power. And by speaking for the People, she’s emerged as one of the most important progressive voices in America. She has earned her seat in Congress and deserves ALL of our support.
