A lot is at stake this election year.

We have highly competitive races down the ballot and we are poised - not without smart investments - to keep Democratic control. At our core, we are laser-focused on the long game: augmenting and protecting the collective political power of the left, winning seats, and preventing the ascension of Republicans, now and in years to come. We know that we cannot take Vermont for granted and must proactively ensure we win and preserve down-ballot wins for the left.


Vermont can win a majority.

This year we are facing an unprecedented number of legislative retirements, with nearly one third of the legislature stepping down. We have a unique opportunity to protect and augment our majority in the legislature. There are many competitive state house and state senate races that need targeted, strategic support to succeed. Through targeted efforts, we can direct funds toward races for values-aligned candidates who are champions of climate, reproductive liberty, democracy, housing and supporting working families.

  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Alliance for a Better Vermont Action Fund (ABV-AF) is a Vermont Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee (IE PAC), conducts its activities entirely independent of candidates, and doesn't contribute directly to candidates, parties, or party committees. Contributions to ABV-AF are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions. Per Vermont campaign finance law, all contributions and contributors' names must be disclosed on Vermont campaign finance reports. For mass media expenditures made within 45 days of an election totalling $5,110 or more, ABV-AF must file a mass media report that includes the names of contributors and amounts contributed in excess of $100. For paid advertisements, the name of any contributor who contributes more than 25 percent of all contributions and more than $2,000.00 to ABV-AF since the beginning of the two-year general election cycle in which the electioneering communication was made must be included in the advertisement text disclosure.
