Stop the 20-week abortion ban
Last June, Mitch McConnell told a group of powerful anti-abortion activists that if Republicans take control of the Senate, they’ll pass a nationwide ban on abortion after 20 weeks.
Now, we’re hearing that the 20-week abortion ban could be one of the very first bills they vote on in the new Congress.
The ban has already passed the House of Representatives, and after the election, there are just 37 solidly pro-choice Senators left--short of the 41 needed to block a bill.
